Aerodactyl is a prehistoric Pokemon resurrected from amber fossils, representing one of the most ancient Pokemon species. Known as the ultimate prehistoric predator, Aerodactyl ruled the skies 100 million years ago with razor-sharp claws and fangs. The card required the Mysterious Fossil trainer to play, introducing the unique fossil mechanic. As the only Flying-type Pokemon that could learn Rock-type moves naturally, Aerodactyl bridges ancient and modern Pokemon design philosophies.
